For families who are unsure

You're not failing them by asking for help.

If you've been holding it together for a parent or partner — managing the appointments, doing the night-time turns, watching the calendar — and you're wondering whether it's time to ask for support: it probably is. And asking is not a failure. It's the most loving thing you can do for both of you.

We're a small, family-run team. We'll listen first. We'll come and meet you and your loved one in their own home. And we'll help you work out what kind of support — if any — would actually help.

Recognise any of these?

Some signs that often mean it's time to think about help.

If you recognise more than two or three of these, a conversation with us costs nothing.

Mum's losing weight, or skipping meals.

Dad's had a fall, or come close to one.

Medications are being missed or doubled up.

The house isn't kept the way it used to be.

There's confusion that wasn't there a year ago.

They're sleeping badly, or not at all.

Family is doing more than family should.

Hospital discharge is around the corner and you're worried.

Even one of these is reason enough to start a conversation.

Zoe Rafferty

I am passionate about Social Care and providing high quality domiciliary care to people who live in our communities, who wish to remain living independently in their own home where they feel safe and secure in their own familiar surroundings. I have worked in Social Care for the past eleven years. I started my career as a community care worker, and I progressed to Senior Care Worker. The role of Senior Care Worker was some of the best years of my life — being out in the community making sure that our service users were safe and well and that our care workers were providing the person-centred high quality of care that they deserved and with dignity and respect. This role really made me passionate and driven to provide high quality Social Care. I progressed quickly to a care coordinator, deputy manager and now a Registered Manager. We value equality and treat all our service users with compassion, and we are committed to delivering consistent quality care.

Real families. Real care.

★★★★★

I cannot recommend this company enough. They go above and beyond. They don't just care for my mum, they actually care for the family and will support where they can. Management deals with any issues effectively and promptly. I can actually relax now this company is involved. If you are looking for care for a loved one, look no further.

After spending months trying to find care for my mother, Honorable Care answered my prayers and took on my mother's care needs knowing the challenging circumstances. They have been very supportive and professional throughout.

Excellent care given to my Aunty. The staff are extremely caring and respectful, allowing my Aunty to feel at ease and, in her words, "in good hands." Great communication, any issues dealt with efficiently and professionally, with management available at any time.
