A family-run care provider in Staffordshire

About Honorable Care

CQC-registered domiciliary care, built on the belief that everyone deserves to be looked after the way you'd want your own family to be.

Our story

Care that feels personal, because it is.

Honorable Care was founded with a simple belief: that the people we care for deserve the same level of warmth, attention and respect that we would want for our own families.

We are a small, family-run care provider based in Staffordshire. We keep our team deliberately small so that we can maintain the standards that matter: consistency, reliability and genuine relationships between carers and the people they support.

Every decision we make, from how we recruit to how we review care plans, comes back to that founding belief. We are not a franchise. We are not a call centre. We are a team of people who are genuinely committed to the people they look after.

Is Honorable Care CQC registered?

Yes. Honorable Care Limited is registered with and regulated by the Care Quality Commission, the independent regulator of health and social care in England. Our CQC Provider ID is 1-12363890094, and you can look us up on the CQC website at any time. Being registered means we are inspected against national standards for safety, effectiveness and quality of care, and that we have a named Registered Manager, Zoe Rafferty, who is accountable for the service. We are also a registered company (Companies House 13267057), ISO 9001 certified for quality management and Cyber Essentials Plus certified for the way we handle your data. We are a small, family-run provider based in Stoke-on-Trent, and quite frankly we would rather you check these things than take our word for it, so if you want to see any of our certificates, just ask.

What makes us different

The things that matter, done properly.

Consistent, familiar carers

We work hard to match you with a small, consistent group of carers so your loved one sees familiar faces. Continuity is not just a nicety, it is what makes care feel safe and trustworthy.

Direct access to management

Our Registered Manager is directly contactable by phone. When something needs attention, you reach a decision-maker, not a call handler.

Care plans built around the person

Your care plan is not a standard document with names filled in. We build it around the individual — their routine, their preferences, their goals — and we review it regularly.

On time, every visit

Our carers are trained to treat punctuality as non-negotiable. If something exceptional happens, we call ahead. We know how much it matters to be able to rely on us.

Fully DBS checked and trained

Every member of our care team is DBS checked and trained to UK care standards before their first visit. We do not cut corners on who we send into your home.

Genuine relationships

We are not a tick-box service. Our carers are encouraged to take the time to talk, to understand, and to build a real relationship with the people they support.

Our Registered Manager

Zoe Rafferty

Zoe leads the day-to-day running of Honorable Care and is the person who carries the registration with CQC. She is directly contactable and involved in every care assessment. Find out more about Zoe and the rest of the team on our team page.
